SAP Managed Support – Remote

The Challenge

The Objective

Provide a structured way of understanding changes across a global business and implementing changes in the SAP system in a non-disruptive manner.

Solution

Setup a remote SAP Team covering the core business processes across Inventory, Sales, Financials. Project Management team deployed to ensure co-ordination between the business team and SAP team was synchronized ensuring a structured method of communications. Development team setup to provide business process improvements for functionality that SAP did not provide.

Approach

  • Initial stage was to understand and analyze the current Master Data issues, challenges, problems and requirements. Based on the initial stage, a full and detailed Design Blueprint of the Master Data Improvement solution was provided for Customer verification/validation and sign off.
  • Subsequently, the implementation of the new Master Data Improvement solutions were executed for APO SNP, APO PPDS and PP (Includes MRP for Production Planning and also Materials Planning related to Purchase Requisition/Purchase Order Planning Master Data).
  • Master Data related training was executed to end users included the preparation of training documentation.
  • Setup Production and Go-Live with new Master Data was completed by the newly trained users.
  • Final step was a handover of the new functioning system in the form of providing Hypercare/Support for approx. two weeks to ensure everything is smooth with Production Operations.
